A: No. If installed properly Steel Door Armor should have no affect on the
operation of your current locks

A: Door Jammer and Door Club devices need to be engaged each time you wish
to use them. They also need to be engaged from the inside of the house,
which presents a problem if you need to leave. Steel Door Armor is installed
once and then you can forget about it. Also, once these other devices are
engaged, they prevent all potential entry, including legal, keyed entry.
This makes these units very unsafe for children and the elderly. Steel
Door Armor does not affect legal, keyed entry in any way. Your door will

Q: If I move can I take The Steel Door Armor with me?
A: Yes,just remove Steel Door Armor with a Phillips head screwdriver,or a
variable speed drill.

A: Steel Door Armor is recommended for every entry doors meeting the specifications
for which it was designed. Steel Door Armor is highly recommended for side

Q: Do I need to remove the whole door to install Steel Door Armor?
A: No, it is not necessary to remove the entire door or even the door slab.
