Suspect Confessed To Crimes
The Fort Washington man accused of a four-day home-invasion spree in
Bethesda, Wheaton and Temple Hills last week confessed to his crimes,
a prosecutor said in a Montgomery County courthouse Tuesday.
Kevin Darnell Ray, 33, who was arrested in North Carolina and extradited
to Montgomery County, was placed on no-bond status by a Montgomery County
District Court judge. He appeared via closed circuit television from
the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, groaning and using crutches.
Prosecutors said he attempted to flee from arresting officers and was
injured.

Invasion Suspect Shot by Police
Fresno Police say three armed suspects targeted a home on Cambridge
and Blackstone on Tuesday morning. A husband, wife and three children
live there.
"[Suspects] had bolt cutters to cut the front gate open. They
kicked in the side door. They were equipped with two way radios, zip
ties, and they all had guns," said Captain Dennis Bridges of the
Fresno Police Department
Second man charged in home invasion, SUV theft in Raleigh
Raleigh, N.C. — Two men accused of invading a home and stealing
an SUV on Sunday were in custody Tuesday, police said. The stolen GMC
Envoy was involved in a wreck minutes after the break-in, police said,
and a man who stopped at the crash site was killed.
Police have not named any suspects or charged anyone in that fatal stabbing, nor have they confirmed whether the home invasion and homicide are related.
Robbers Steal $500 During Penn Hills Home Invasion
Police are searching for three men accused of attacking a woman in her
Penn Hills home last week. The home invasion happened Friday night along
Main Street while the woman’s 3-year-old daughter was home with
her, officers said. Police said the men banged on the woman’s
door and then broke it down when she didn’t answer. The victim
gave the robbers $500 and was struck in the head with a gun as the robber
fled.
Woman stabbed during home invasion
A WOMAN has been stabbed in the neck and a man seriously assaulted after
several people broke into a home in southern NSW. Emergency services
were called to the property on Finley Street, Finley about 12.30am today,
police said. Officers were told several people had forced entry to the
home and assaulted a woman, 37, and 59-year-old man.The offenders then
fled on foot.
Mother stabbed in home invasion
A woman was stabbed during a home invasion in northwest Harris County
Tuesday afternoon. Harris County sheriff's deputies were called out
to a home in the 22100 block of Calderbrook, near Mason and Clay roads,
about 2 p.m.
3 men charged in home invasion
PANAMA CITY BEACH — Deputies have arrested three men believed
to be responsible for a violent home invasion in which a woman was sexually
assaulted, according the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
A victim recognized one of the suspects, Jimmy Edward Boyd, 27, who
was arrested Tuesday at the home of a family member in Fountain, and
led police to Cruz Tranum Griggs, 22, who was also arrested Tuesday.
The third suspect, 18-year-old Tony McCloud, was arrested early Wednesday.
Police recover drugs & stolen property after home invasion robbery
YAKIMA POLICE NEWS RELEASE -- Yakima Police were sent to a home invasion
robbery at 901 Tenant Ln at 0515hrs on 1-14-12 . One victim was able
to escape and call police. He said that three suspects with guns were
in the house. Prior to police arrival the suspects fled in a waiting
vehicle.
